The History of Juicing
Dr. Norma Walker is traditionally
cited as one of the first western practitioner to endorse
the raw food and fresh juice lifestyle. At 105, he was quoted
as saying "I don't really feel that I grew older since I was
30 years old."
You can find numerous website
testimonies about his enduring vitality and long life of 107
years that ended abruptly with a car accident in 1985. Dr.
Walker has written several books about maintaining a high-energy
level throughout an extended life span all through the adapting
a healthy diet. We recommend the following:
- Diet & Salad Suggestions, for use in connection with
vegetable and fruit juices (1940)
- Become Younger (1949)
- The Natural Way to Vibrant Health (1972)
- Back to the Land ... for Self Preservation: a freedom,
life-style, and nutritional commentary (1977)
- Fresh Vegetable and Fruit Juices: What's Missing
